A Case Study

W e recently began working with the Inn at Saratoga, a BookingSuite client in Saratoga, CA. These were just a few of their issues, and this is what we’re doing for them:

The 45-room Inn liked the functionality that BookingSuite provided, but they knew their site lacked visual appeal, and the navigation was clumsy. They needed an enhanced web presence and dedicated marketing program to compete successfully in the Silicon Valley hotel market.

We began a multiphased marketing effort that included the following:

  • Comprehensive website upgrade, with new color palette and improved navigation. Installed Google Analytics to measure site traffic
  • Refined the Inn’s logo, giving it more clarity and definition
  • Performed keyword research, identifying those words and phrases that we should be using in website content
  • Wrote new landing page content to increase the site’s SEO value, including an Events page listing local activities
  • Managed a photoshoot with a local photographer, getting new images for the site’s homepage slider and other key pages. greatly enhancing visual appeal
  • Identified and managed campaigns to drive traffic to website. For each campaign, created a landing page and promo code to track registrations
  • Created/upgraded social media sites and began posting to promote campaigns
  • Email blasts 2x/month to the Inn’s email list of more than 3,000 guests
